James Gunn 親自解答《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》反派「至高進化」最後命運
現正熱映中的《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》（星際異攻隊/銀河守護隊）在多數好評的加持下，全球票房逼近 $6 億美金，近日有不少網民於網路上向導演 James Gunn 提問，而他也趁勢揭示本片反派「至高進化 High Evolutionary」最後命運。
根據 The Direct 先前報導指出本片的視覺特效師稱 Drax 在最後救出至高進化免於因飛船爆炸而死亡，而 James Gunn 也針對至高進化的死活進行回應，James 表示：「是的，Rocket 最終選擇沒有殺死他的造物主，此決定反映著他在這趟旅程中的巨大轉變，從原先是一個最沒有同情心的角色變成最具同理心的人。」
James 最後表示此片段因打斷結尾的節奏最終選擇刪除，但在未來發布的刪減片段中可以看到；而在另一則推文中，James Gunn 表示至高進化最終被關在「知無領域 Knowhere」中。
