4 GoPro 相機殉職！廠方答允無償替換

SpaceX 旗下星艦（Starship）在上周四（20 日）升空，首次試飛宣告失敗，據報損失高達 30 億美元（約 236 億港元）。除了 SpaceX 之外，在現場的攝影師也蒙受不少損失，例如有超過 150 次拍攝火箭升空經驗的攝影師 Scott Schilke，便失去了 4 部 GoPro 相機。

為了拍攝這次歷史性時刻，據報共用上 9 部不同版本的 GoPro HERO 相機。然而由火箭助推器 1,200 萬磅推力所產生的強大氣流，不單夾雜了如拳頭大小的混凝土碎塊，更以「炮彈速度」直衝向相機，結果令到 Schilke 的 GoPro 相機損毀。「幸好我仍能取出 SD 卡，裡面的影像相當令人震驚。」

日前 Schilke 在社交媒體貼文，公開向 GoPro 請求免費替換他手上已損毀的 4 部 GoPro 相機。GoPro 亦大方地回應「它們都只是做好本分而已」，並告訴 Schilke 可向他們發出私訊，商討下一步 細節。
另一方面，在 Reddit 論壇上，有用家貼出多部 Nikon 相機及鏡頭的照片，可以見到器材都有不同程度的損毀，不過據目測能修理好的機會應該很細。
Schilke 的相機並不是唯一在發射中被毀的相機，一位 Reddit 用戶發布了他的 Nikon 相機和鏡頭被星艦「橫掃」的令人震驚的照片。
今次升空的星艦，是人類史上最巨型的運載火箭，有效載重量最高達 300 噸。然而連 SpaceX 本身也可能未完全掌握相關技術，導致今次升空計劃失敗收場，星艦在升空約 4 分鐘後在空中因部分引擎失靈而被引爆。其後有照片看到發射平台也受到嚴重損毀，底部出現如火山口般的大坑，並露出大量鋼筋，一定程度上解釋了撞擊相機的水泥碎塊的由來。
