7 dead in crash on I-5 in Marion County, northbound lanes closed
MARION COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - Seven people are dead after a crash on I-5 that has the northbound lanes closed, about seven miles north of Albany near the line between Marion County and Linn County.
The crash involved two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle, according to Oregon State Police.

Around 2:40 p.m. the Oregon Department of Transportation said the northbound lanes on the interstate would remain closed for the next several hours. Northbound traffic on I-5 will be diverted onto Jefferson Highway at Exit 238 for the afternoon rush hour.

The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time.
