Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom updated to Version 1.1.1 (patch notes)
2023 has been a busy year for Nintendo, and it isn’t just because of new games and downloadable content. Nintendo has been releasing a slow but steady stream of updates to their various games. That said, it was only a matter of time before The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom continued that trend.
Sure enough, that has happened. Nintendo has released a new update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it is the first update to release since the game launched last week. According to the patch notes, the only thing the update has is a specific bug fix. The patch notes can be seen down below.
General Updates
Fixed issue where, sometimes, the player could not clear main quest “The Closed Door,” even if they fulfilled the conditions to advance the quest. If you have already encountered this issue, you will be able to clear the quest by downloading this update data.
Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
