Joy-Anna Duggar and husband Austin Forsyth welcome third child, a baby boy, to their growing family
Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, have officially welcomed their third child, a baby son, and gave a first look of their little bundle of joy on Instagram on Friday.
The TV personality, 25, and her spouse of nearly six years, 28, announced that they were expecting baby number three last year in October.
The two lovebirds, who tied the knot in 2017, already share son Gideon, five, and daughter Evelyn, two.
In the photo uploaded onto Joy-Anna's main Instagram page, she could be seen resting in a hospital bed as she gently cradled her newborn son, while Austin excitedly leaned in closely to also join the family picture.
The mother of three penned in the caption to her 1.1 million fans and followers, 'He’s here!' followed by a blue heart emoji. 'Thank you all for praying… Mama and baby are recovering well.'

Back in October, the couple happily announced that they would soon add another addition to their family by uploading a slew of family photos while holding up sonogram images. 'Baby #3 is on the way!'
Joy-Anna also shared a slideshow video that included hers and Austin's reaction to learning they were expecting their third child. 'Baby, you are already so loved,' the media star gushed at the time.
'Making this reel made me emotional all over again. Seriously, thank you all for your love and for celebrating with us! It means so much!'
Later that same month, Joy gave her fans and followers a full YouTube video that had captured the special moment that she and her husband found out about the pregnancy, and also uploaded snippets onto Instagram.
Whispering in a tearful clip recorded from Alaska, Joy-Anna explained to viewers that she was taking a test and hoping for it to be positive.
Before opening the test result she wiped a tear from her eye as she noted to the camera, 'I miss my babies,' who were at home in Arkansas.
The 13-minute YouTube video shows the former Counting On personality's jaw drop a she removes the pregnancy test to see the result.
'We have been trying, and we're both ready to have number three,' the expectant mom said in the recording. 'Or baby number three and four,' her spouse added.

'Wouldn't that be cool?' Duggar asked rhetorically before continuing, 'We're at a really good spot now.'
'We love our family, and we're ready to expand, so, we're really, really hoping that we get pregnant. It'd be crazy if it was twins. It would be fun.' In the clip, the mom and dad shared with their followers that their bundle of joy is due this year in May.
Joy-Anna welcomed her first son, Gideon, in 2018, and her second child, daughter Evelyn, in 2020. However, in 2019, the TLC star faced a tragic loss after suffering a miscarriage with their daughter, Annabell, at 20 weeks pregnant.
At the time, the reality star emotionally revealed the heartbreaking news, and along with a black and white photo of herself in the hospital with her husband, she wrote, 'Today marks one week since we heard these words…"So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement."'
'We had gone in for our 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal. It was a baby girl. Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord.'
Towards the end of the post, she also revealed the name they had given their daughter. 'We named her Annabell Elise. Annabell means "God has favored me," and Elise means "God satisfies."'
'What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus. Please pray for continued healing, not only physically but for our hearts as well.'
