A woman who works as a volunteer for a Georgia animal shelter has created a mockup of a pet adoption website based on the used car website Carvana.

Kayla Delcoure created listings for cats looking for their fur-ever home, all under the guise of Cat-vana having been inspired by her husband's search for a new truck.

The feline listings for Pippi's Place Pet Rescue in Lawrenceville, Georgia were all mocked up and based to resemble vehicle listings and include hilarious details such as year, make, and model information such as a Furrari, Apura or a Pursche.

The smart advertising saw offerings such as a 2022 Catillac Simon with impact sensors and green headlights or for more sporty types a 2014 Furrari Arlis with custom white decals and a seat heater.

Also on the showroom floor are a 2015 Furcedes called Buddy and a 2022 Meowzda called Cassie.

For those looking for a cute companion, a 2023 Mini Pooper with two-tone exterior and all-paw drive is on offer - or how about a two-speed automatic (nap and ZOOM) with self-cleaning capabilities?

Pippi's Place Pet Rescue was set up in 2021. Delcoure suggested creating the classified listings to generate some publicity.

'My inspiration for CatVana is humorously uneventful,' Delcoure told NPR.

'My husband has been wanting to buy a truck for months, and occasionally brings me his phone to show me the listings. While I was brainstorming cute ways to display all nine of Pippi's Place's available cats in one post, my husband walked into my office to show me a truck listing.

'Different amusing descriptions kept popping up in my head, like the 'four-paw-drive', 'rear air vent', and the rest of them, so I went ahead and made the individual listings as well,' she explained.

The profiles show a keen attention to detail that both car and cat enthusiasts alike will appreciate.

Delcoure said the favorite ad she made was for a cat known as Mr. Goodbar, a '2023 Mini Pooper.'

'His listing was the last one I needed to create and I knew I wanted it to be something adorable and relative to his size. I happen to own and adore a Mini Cooper and I knew the 'mini' part would fit him perfectly, so that's what I went with!' she said.

The original Reddit post from Wednesday also caught the attention of online users with almost 65,000 upvotes.
