Plane crashes into Pacific Ocean off coast of Half Moon Bay
(KRON) — A plane crash off the coast of Half Moon Bay is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The plane involved was a Viking Air DHC-6-400 Twin Otter, the NTSB said. The plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean about 40 miles off the Northern California coast around 2:15 p.m.

The plane was flying from Santa Rosa to Honolulu, Hawaii, and initial information shows that two people were on board the flight, the Federal Aviation Administration tells KRON4.
