Frontier Airlines passenger arrested after hitting employee with intercom phone
A “belligerent” passenger allegedly struck an airline employee with an intercom phone when they were asked to get off a Frontier Airlines flight leaving Denver International Airport.
The passenger – identified by Denver police as Shuri Turner – was asked to deplane a Tampa-bound flight after she “became belligerent onboard,” according to a statement from Frontier Airlines.
But Turner allegedly took matters into her own hands, CNN reported.
“As she was deplaning, she picked up an intercom phone and struck a flight attendant,” the statement said.
Denver police arrested Turner and charged her with assault, according to Denver7, a local ABC affiliate.
It’s not clear what spurred the confrontation.
But the flight left Denver about four hours late because of the outburst.

Turner, meanwhile, was reportedly cited and released.
