How To Find (& Defeat) Grethel the Glassblower in V Rising
In V Rising, Grethel the Glassblower is one of the key V Blood Bosses to kill because the items she gives you as a reward are extremely valuable. Unlike Bane the Shadowblade, its location does not change constantly and is extremely easy to find. Grethel the Glassblower is a Level 47 V Blood Boss, just like Maja the Dark Savant. In this guide, you will learn the Grethel the Glassblower location and where you can find him in the V Rising Gloomrot update.
Where To Find Grethel the Glassblower in V Rising
Grethel the Glassblower can be found at Quartz Quarry in Farbane Woods. Grethel is a Level 47 boss, so you should make sure to have enough level and Gear Score to take him down. When you go to the Quartz Quarry area, you can find this V Blood Boss inside the biggest building there.
How To Defeat Grethel the Glassblower in V Rising
Grethel dashes towards you and tries to damage you. You can dodge this attack with good timing. You can tell when she is going to dash towards you by the winds around him.
Since she is a slightly bulky V Blood Boss your job is much more easier. She throws three Cyclones in your direction and spends a lot of time doing it. During this time, you can deal both ranged and melee damage.
She stops for a few seconds and drops 7 chunks of lava from above. Be careful not to touch these lava chunks.
Grethel freezes the lavas she drops by blowing the wind. Then the frozen lava explodes and sends shards of glass toward you. During this time, don’t attack the boss at all, just try to dodge the shards of glass coming towards you.

Cyclone deals 90% magic damage and electrocutes enemies and this spell is a very usable and decent ability. You need Glass for many of the items added in the Gloomrot update, including the Blood Rose Potion. Luckily, his boss provides the recipe for Glass to you. And finally, it provides Blood Rose Potion, which replenishes 55% of your Max Health for 10 seconds. However, the effect stops when you take damage.
