Jimmy Butler Guarantees Miami Heat Will Win Eastern Conference Finals Series
The bold statement came after the Celtics' 110-97 victory in Game 5.
The Boston Celtics could be the first NBA franchise to overcome a 3-0 deficit. The feat is reachable, as the Celtics convincingly won Games 4 and 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals by double-digits.
Jimmy Butler has been a key player for the Miami Heat. The six-time All-Star averaged 24.2 points, 5.8 assists, and seven rebounds over his last five games.
Though momentum is shifting towards Boston, Butler is confident that his team will prevail.
"They were in a rhythm since the beginning of the game, but we're always going to stay positive knowing that we can and we will win this series," said Butler, as captured by NBA on TNT. "We'll just have to close it out at home."
Game 6 of the Celtics-Heat series is set for Saturday night at 8:30 pm.
