Donna Page, a professional astrologer with a graduate degree in counseling psychology based in Atlanta, is here with all of the tea to prepare your zodiac sign for vacation season.
“There is an energy of redoing things and slowing the pace,” says Page. “While there could be four areas in which you want something done yesterday, the planets are telling you to slow it down. How do you get what you want? Be strategic about it.” Basically, it’s chess, not checkers, astrology lovers. This month is about planning the perfect moves to propel you forward for the rest of the season.
Two major shifts in the sky are Saturn, the planet that highlights your life’s purpose, and Neptune, the planet that deals with your dream life, both moving retrograde. This ups the ante on the energy of both planets, which could lead to major transformations across the zodiac. Other dates of importance: There will be a full moon in Sagittarius on the 3rd, and Venus, the planet that rules over love, moves into fiery Leo on the 5th. Mercury, the planet that deals with communication, also shifts twice this month, opening the door for any deep convos you avoided while this planet was retrograde last month. Naturally, the new moon in Gemini closes out this air sign season, and on the 21st–with the summer solstice–we jump right into watery, intuitive Cancer season.
