Shooting reported at North Star Mall; San Antonio police say there’s no active shooter
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police responded to a shooting at North Star Mall on Sunday afternoon.
Details about the incident are limited, but police said there is not an active shooter at the mall.
Police said there was, however, an isolated shooting that was believed to be a targeted attack.
SAPD is slated to give a news conference about the situation at 4:15 p.m. KSAT will livestream the press conference in this article and on YouTube.
The shooters are not believed to be at the mall. According to SAPD, the mall is not closed to the public but some stores have chosen to shelter in place.
KSAT has a team headed to the situation, and this story will be updated as more information becomes available.
