Xbox Surprises Gamers By Completely Deleting an Achievement
Surprising Homestead Arcana fans, Xbox has completely deleted an achievement from the game's roster of 35. Homestead Arcana was among the Game Pass lineup for April and remains on the Xbox service today, but some fans were experiencing issues with progression until a surprise change.
Serenity Forge's Homestead Arcana is a casual farming sim. Homestead Arcana players take on the role of a farming witch who grows plants in order to improve her spells and heal the land of Miasma. Progressing through Homestead Arcana requires growing an assortment of crops, building a home, and improving on the witch's gear, but some players found an issue pertaining to the latter that was impacting their Xbox achievement completion and hindering their gamerscore growth.

Several Homestead Arcana fans have reported problems revolving around one of the game's Xbox achievements that was preventing them from unlocking all 35 and hitting 100% completion. The dubious Xbox achievement causing controversy with many Homestead Arcana players was called "You Can't Be Too Prepared," but a quick update has already removed it from the achievement list. Because lots of Xbox Homestead Arcana fans have already hit 34 of the 35 achievements before Xbox made the adjustment, some have already reported reaching their goal of completing the Serenity Forge farming simulator.
In order for Homestead Arcana players to unlock You Can't Be Too Prepared in their playthrough, they would have to craft every item in the farming sim, a daunting task with many potential options that could have been problematic. Serenity Forge has seemingly found that the Green Ankle Boots were causing issues by not even being listed for players to craft as it should be. Due to this hiccup, one of the many Xbox achievements has been delisted. It may be replaced in the future, but that remains to be seen.
Because some Homestead Arcana fans had already mentioned the game's Xbox achievement issues on the forums, it's likely that Serenity Forge's developers were quickly alerted to the problem. It's currently unclear if Serenity Forge or Xbox itself made the call to the achievement that was preventing players from finalizing their Homestead Arcana playthrough according to their gamerscore, but it has dispelled some confusion for members of the community.
Homestead Arcana is available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
