Here are the input lag test results for Street Fighter 6 across all platforms
Street Fighter 6 was finally released just a few days ago. As such, Nigel "Noodalls" Woodall, input lag test aficionado, has recently reported his findings about Street Fighter 6's input latency.
It would appear that Noodalls has spent quite a lot of time running thousands of tests across all platforms that Street Fighter 6 has been released on to get the most accurate results possible. According to Noodalls' interpretation of these results, it doesn't matter a great deal which platform you get Street Fighter 6 if you're buying for the new generation of consoles.
For the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC versions of Street Fighter 6, input latency clocked in at around 57.40 ms, 58.30 ms, 55.65 ms, and 58.93 ms (or 58.17 ms) respectively. Seeing as how 1 frame of input lag is equal to about 16.667 ms, this means that Street Fighter 6 has about 3-4 frames of input lag on new generation hardware.
As for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, input latency ended up recording at around 70.32 ms and 71.93 ms respectively. Essentially, this means that these consoles have about an extra frame of input lag compared to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the PC versions of Street Fighter 6.
Noodalls note that the "Input Delay Reduction" function within Street Fighter 6 was turned on to conduct these tests. However, Noodalls also notes that the "lack of VRR type support hampers input lag.
"VRR type support" refers to a "variable refresh rate" which allows a program to continuously and seamlessly change its refresh rate without user input. Check it all out below:

I would interpret these as being the same across all the current generation systems. Lack of VRR type support hampers input lag. pic.twitter.com/7JLemHQqOK — Nigel Woodall (@noodalls) June 5, 2023
