Eternights Confirms Summer Games Fest Presence This Week
Studio Sai, the developer of the upcoming dating-action game Eternights, has announced that they have been invited to appear for the Day of the Devs showcase on June 8 at 5 P.M EDT. This showcase focuses on indie games that may not get an in-depth showing during the main show hosted by Geoff Keighley.
These will be the first new details about the title since February when a launch window was announced alongside a trailer. As summer is quickly getting underway, the launch for this title should be soon, so it would be a perfect way to kick off the presentation with a possible release date.
This announcement includes a small trailer to commemorate the event and consists of some voice acting along with a look at a new squat mini-game that players will do alongside their friends.
These are intercut between shots showing off enemies that will be encountered during exploration of the various dungeons and end with the Protagonist readying a super attack on an enemy.
You can check out the announcement alongside the trailer below.
Hey everybody!
There are TWO exciting things happening this week! #Eternights has been invited to join this year's #SummerGameFest! Tune in June 8th for the FIRST piece of news at @dayofthedevs @summergamefest! pic.twitter.com/hMcyUd1zk7 — fkkcloud | Eternights – Coming in 2023 (@StudioSaiGames) June 5, 2023
Eternights has already made a favorable impression with its sleek presentation and obvious inspiration from the Persona series when it was initially announced during the State of Play in June of last year.
The title promises to have various real-time combat systems in place, including Elemental Attacks, Perfect Dodges, and Parries, that are easy to grasp for those looking to dive into a deep but approachable system. Of course, fighting isn’t the only thing that players can expect in the title, as it has already been confirmed to include a dancing mini-game, so players can blow off some steam with their friends.
Eternights is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in the Summer of 2023.
