Shannen Doherty has shared a heartbreaking cancer update with fans.

The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, who is in the midst of her stage 4 breast cancer battle, shared a video on social media that showed her receiving radiation therapy.

“January 12, the first round of radiation took place,” the 52-year-old captioned her Instagram post. “My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic, and there was a lot going on in my life.”

The CT scan showed that the “Charmed” alum had brain metastases — a condition that occurs when cancer cells spread from their original site to the brain, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“I am fortunate as I have great doctors like Dr. Amin Mirahdi and the amazing techs at Cedar Sinai,” she went on. “But that fear…. The turmoil….. the timing of it all…. This is what cancer can look like.”

“I had many nose bleeds from the chemo,” she previously shared, adding that she’s undergone a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. “Not sure if any of you experienced this. I also was beyond tired.”

Doherty then announced in February 2020 that she was battling stage 4 breast cancer — three years after sharing that her first bout with cancer had gone into remission.

In 2021, Doherty told fans that she was “fighting to stay alive.”

“I never want to operate [like I’m dying],” she said on “Good Morning America” at the time.

“I just want to operate as I don’t have things to check off because I’m going to keep fighting to stay alive,” she added, referring to why she doesn’t particularly like the idea of making a “bucket list.”

Later that month, Doherty wrote on Instagram, ” Is it all pretty? NO but it’s truthful and my hope in sharing is that we all become more educated, more familiar with what cancer looks like.

“I hope I encourage people to get mammograms, to get regular checkups, to cut thru the fear and face whatever might be in front of you.”
