Just five days after she reported to prison, Elizabeth Holmes shared an emotional reunion with her husband and parents.

In pictures by Splash News, obtained by The Daily Mail, Holmes was seen with her parents and husband, Billy Evans, during a visiting day on Saturday.

They were photographed sitting together on a park bench under a tree in the federal prison in Bryan, Texas, which is where Holmes will serve her more than 11-year sentence.

Holmes was dressed in khakis with a brown undershirt, similar to the garb she donned in the first photo taken of her in prison.

The Daily Mail reported that the family was emotional during the seven-hour visit. Holmes was in tears for most of it, per The Daily Mail.

In one of the pictures on Saturday, she was also seen holding her husband's pinky during the visit, which could potentially be seen as a violation of prison rules.

An inmate admission and orientation handbook from the prison notes: "A brief kiss, embrace and/or handshake are allowed only upon arrival and departure."

Holmes reported to prison on May 30 after a court denied her request to remain out of prison while appealing her conviction.

Once considered the world's youngest self-made billionaire who was lauded for efforts to revolutionize healthcare, Holmes' reputation tanked in 2015. This was after The Wall Street Journal published an exposé revealing that she had been lying about the capabilities of the Theranos machines.

Holmes was convicted on four counts of fraud and conspiracy in January 2022. She and her ex-boyfriend, Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani, were ordered to pay $452 million to the victims of Theranos-related frauds.

A lawyer for Holmes did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment sent outside regular business hours.
