Missing 11-year-old Virginia girl is in 'extreme danger,' troopers say
BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. -- A missing/endangered alert for an 11-year-old girl believed to be headed for Florida has been canceled after the child was safely located Saturday night, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the alert was issued Saturday at 4:10 p.m. for Eva Marie Capuria from Bedford County.
"The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen on Sycamore Creek Drive in Goode, Virginia," officials said.
Deputies with the Bedford County Sheriff's Office said around 6:30 p.m. Saturday that Capuria is believed to be traveling south to Tampa, Florida, with a man and woman. The trio are believed to be in a white sedan with Florida plates.
Deputies said Capuria was safely located as of 10 p.m., according to a spokesperson for state police.
