TimTheTatman has his Call of Duty skin removed in support of friend Nickmercs
Content creator Timothy John Beta, better known as TimTheTatman, has had his Call of Duty Operator skin removed from the game at his own request.
On Saturday, TimTheTatman called on Activision to pull his Operator bundle in a show of solidarity with his friend Nicholas ‘Nickmercs’ Kolcheff, the FaZe Clan co-owner and streamer whose Operator skin was recently pulled after a backlash to anti-LGBTQIA+ comments.
Activision introduced Operator bundles for the pair last month as part of the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded update.
“Nickmercs has been my friend for years- we went in getting our CoD operators together,” TimTheTatman tweeted on Saturday.
“It feels wrong for me to have mine and him no longer have his. In support of my friend, please remove the timthetatman bundle Call of Duty.”

An Activision spokesperson told Axios on Sunday: “At Tim’s request, we have removed the TimTheTatman operator bundle from the Modern Warfare II and the Warzone store.”
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 will launch on June 14 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.
It will include new medium-sized Warzone map Vondel and seven new multiplayer maps, among other features.
