Final Fantasy 16 Demo Gets an Imminent Release Date
Final Fantasy fans, rejoice! A recent TV spot shows the imminent release date for the Final Fantasy 16 demo. According to some users in Spain, there’s a TV spot claiming the demo is “available to play now.” This could mean that the playable demo will be available for download on June 11 or 12, depending on everyone’s timezone. Plus, this checks out with the timeframe of the previously announced demo. Yoshi-P had announced the demo would release one month before launch, and while it isn’t a month per se, we’re happy to see Square Enix planning the release of this long-awaited demo.
Square Enix Could Announce a Release Date for Final Fantasy 16 Demo Soon
The above TV spot in Spain says, “Play the Demo Now.” This means the developers plan to announce the release of the Final Fantasy 16 demo, which might be today or tomorrow. This also makes sense, given how the pre-launch for the event is on June 11, and an announcement for the demo would be perfect. Besides that, many players are eager to try the new entry of this legendary series even for a while.

Square Enix has big plans for this franchise beyond the Final Fantasy 16 demo and its official launch. Summer Game Fest also brought a new Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth trailer, a welcome surprise for many. If that wasn’t enough, there are rumors of a Fantasy 10 Remake, which would also be fantastic. While many fans love or hate different titles from the series, no one can deny how fantastic (no pun intended) this franchise is. We’re sure this universe will keep growing, and we’re excited about that.
In the meantime, let’s hope we see the official release date for the demo soon so we can start playing as Clive during the game’s first hours before it launches later this month.
