Diablo 4: Best XP Farm After Hotfix 8
Diablo 4's Hotfix 8 went live on June 11, and it made "adjustments to Elite monster rates in dungeons." These adjustments had a significant impact on Champion's Demise, a dungeon that many players were using to quickly farm XP and loot. Fortunately, there is still a dungeon that awards fast levels and Legendaries in Diablo 4, and this guide is here to point fans toward it.
To note, this XP farm is best when playing with a group in World Tier 4. That said, solo players, and those in World Tier 3, should still give it a try, as it is likely to be better than the other options that are available to them. Regardless of exactly how a fan approaches their XP farming, they should make sure to use Diablo 4's Elixirs in order to increase the rate of acquisition.

Diablo 4: Best XP Farm
The best XP farm following Hotfix 8 is the Ruins of Eridu, a dungeon in Diablo 4's Hawezar region. More specifically, the Ruins of Eridu are located within the Toxic Fens, and Vyeresz is the closet waypoint. For the sake of full clarity, the precise position of this dungeon has been marked on the map that is below, and players that are experiencing lag as they approach it should consider deactivating cross-network play in the Social section of the Options menu.
With respect to what makes the Ruins of Eridu so good for gaining levels, the dungeon has very high mob density and many Elites. Indeed, players will encounter consistently large packs very quickly after entering the Ruins of Eridu, and the high number of Elites on the map makes it one of the best spots for farming loot as well.
As previously noted, the best way to farm the Ruins of Eridu is with a group, as this comes with an XP bonus and allows players to instantly reset the dungeon. To perform this reset, the group leader must simply select the Leave Party option to get kicked to Diablo 4's overworld map. That player can then reenter the Ruins of Eridu, which will now be reset, and recreate a group with their previous party members.
For those players that want to try this XP farm solo, a fully cleared dungeon will automatically reset after it has been vacated for 60 seconds, and a partially cleared Diablo 4 dungeon will automatically reset after 150 seconds. That said, fans that are using this reset method should make sure that they do not leave any portals within the dungeon, as that will prevent the reset from occurring.
Diablo 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
