Buffalo Bills Cancel Final Practice Amid Stefon Diggs Saga
The Buffalo Bills are cutting mandatory minicamp one practice short.
Buffalo had planned to hold three minicamp practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
However, the coaching staff has canceled the third and final mandatory minicamp session on Thursday.
It's an interesting development, especially amid the Stefon Diggs drama.
Diggs missed Tuesday's practice to which head coach Sean McDermott admitted he was "very concerned."
Then on Wednesday, McDermott reversed course and said Diggs had a scheduled day off. It was a weird turnaround for the Pro Bowl wideout.
"There's a lot things out there that aren't accurate," McDermott said. "Let me be clear—Stef did everything he was asked to do. He was here Monday, executed his physical on time. ... We got to a point yesterday where we felt like we all needed a break and some space."
Unfortunately, we're not going to get any solid answers on the Diggs situation until training camp.
Until then, we'll just have to speculate about what went on within Buffalo's building this week.
