Jackass star Bam Margera has sworn off drinking and claims he tested negative for meth after his family had him arrested for making 'terroristic threats.'
Margera, 43, turned himself in earlier this month on criminal charges after he allegedly assaulted his brother and made terroristic threats to other relatives. He was subsequently released on a $50,000 bail, court records revealed, after he pleaded not guilty.
On Friday, the former professional skateboarder took to Instagram to post an old photo of himself holding a liquor bottle, writing: 'For the sake of [my son] Phoenix the wolf. Today is the day I will stop drinking. I have been through official termoil [sic] with my family.'
In a video, Margera went more in-depth, saying: 'You motherf**kers don't know what I've been through. I've never ran for my life through pricker bushes for eight miles through a f**king barbed wire fence, eight-foot tall, times five. I'm a professional at it, I've very stealth.
'I knew how to hide and I knew if I would have got caught that day, my mom, dad, brother, a**holes, would have f**king Baker Act-ed and me, and again, I'd be in the mental hospital.'

In social media post, he claimed his family caused him 'official termoil' and went after his brother Jess for claiming he was on meth
The troubled pro-skater took off into the woods near his $1.1million Pennsylvania castle after he allegedly got into a fight with his brother Jess, who has said Bam struck him multiple times in the head and threatened to kill him.
In an Instagram post after he left the courthouse, Margera posted a photograph of himself holding court documents while he plead his innocence.
'I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers,' he wrote. 'Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later.
'The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and he wants to find a way to 302 me. F*** him.'
Responding on Twitter, Margera's brother Jess said: 'Yeah this meltdown I guess is my fault now. It's always someone else's fault.'
On Friday, Margera also shared a photo of himself standing outside an Urgent Care holding a negative drug test.
Margera posted an image of himself outside the courthouse and warned he would sue his brother for defamation over the allegations against him. He turned himself in after running from police with his girlfriend and son for days
He wrote in the post: 'Well my brother made false accusations of me being on meth. But when I wear to god and Phoenix the wolfs life I’m not, I went with my lawyers to Urgent Care. Guess what Jesse Margera. The results are negative. Now you will be evicted from castlebam sooner than later. Get your f**kin shit out HOMOner. Oh wait… not no more.
My dumb brother doesn’t understand that it’s not called castle Jess. It’s actually called castlebam. It’s mine.'
Despite his ranting, he took a moment to praise his girlfriend Jessica for not being a 'hot dog strutting floozy' and thanked her for getting him 'Donald trumps [sic] impeachment lawyer to prove my innocence to my a**hole brother.'
Lamar Odom offered to help Margera, who has grappled with substance abuse issues these past few years.
The former Lakers player, 43, told TMZ a 'relationship with Jesus Christ' would help Margera - but the star would actually have to 'want' to get help.
Odom has overcome his own battle with substance abuse and now runs three drug treatment centers in California entitled Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
The basketball player said he would even assist Margera, 43, for free.
Jess Margera took to Twitter on Wednesday, revealing that his brother is addicted to meth and saying he is doesn't know what Bam is capable of
His brother Jess, right, has said Bam struck him multiple times in the head and threatened to kill him Sunday morning. The two brothers are pictured with their parents
'Well he's got God in his life? A relationship with Jesus Christ should help. But if his problem is alcohol and drugs I would reach out my hand to him and get... him in my facility,' he said.
'I've been through it,' he said. 'If he wants the help, then it's here for him. I'm reaching out my arms to him.'
Asked if he would take care of him for free, he said: 'Yes sir.'
'All he has to do is show up. If he wants it though. You have to want it.'
When asked what message he would send him, Lamar said: 'I love him and just stay strong.'
It all comes after Margera sensationally turned himself in following a days-long manhunt by law enforcement.
The performer had been on the run since Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest and he fled with his girlfriend and her eight-year-old daughter.
Margera appeared in Chester County courthouse in Pennsylvania Thursday morning.
Following Margera's hearing Thursday, Michael van der Veen said in a statement: 'Mr. Margera enjoys all of his constitutional rights, including the presumption of innocence. The wild rumors regarding his behavior this week are absolutely false. He is in good health and in good spirits.'
Police said they responded Sunday morning to a call about an assault near Margera's $1.1million castle (pictured)
Following the altercation, Margera fled into the nearby woods. He has since threatened to kick his brother out of his home
Before he decided to turn himself in, a source close to the family told TMZ Margera had been making 'intoxicated' calls to his family telling them how much he hates them for putting him in a Florida treatment center last year.
He has also accused them of selling his home and stealing his money, the unnamed source said, noting that Margera trusts nobody and has threatened to sue his family for the money he claims they stole from him.
Authorities have said troopers responded to a reported disturbance Sunday morning near Margera's castle, where an alleged victim said they got into a physical altercation with the Jackass star and suffered minor injuries as a result.
But when police arrived on the scene, they said, Margera had already fled into a nearby wooded area.
A police report filed in the aftermath shows that Margera began to bang on his brother Jess' bedroom door at 8am that morning, leaving a disturbing note in his wake.
Margera claimed he was giving up alcohol for his son, Phoenix (pictured)
It read: 'If you even f**king think of calling the police on me I will officially f**k you up.'
Jess - best known as the drummer for the rock band CKY - said that he found the note and walk downstairs to discover Bam urinating into a kitchen sink, which led to a fight breaking out.
Bam allegedly began to beat Jess, striking him multiple times on his head, with Jess showing multiple visible injuries.
He claims that after the fight, Bam continued his rage, saying: 'I'll kill you. I'll put a bullet in your head.'
Bam also allegedly said he'd kill everyone else in the home, including the Margera brothers' father Phil and two unidentified women before he fled.
The altercation reportedly came as Margera's friends had been urging him to get help after a failed intervention in San Diego earlier this month.
