Peyton Manning Caught Drinking Polarizing Beverage At College World Series
Peyton Manning is just about the most likable player in NFL history. How could you hate the guy? Well, somehow a few fans have found a way.
Manning, the former Colts and then Broncos quarterback, was spotted drinking a can of Bud Light while attending the College World Series this weekend.
In case you've been living under a rock, Bud Light has become some sort of "woke" beverage for reasons we won't get into here. For those reasons, though, Bud Light has been boycotted by previous fans of the beverage.
It doesn't appear Manning has grouped himself in with the boycotters as he was enjoying the popular beer on Saturday.
"Was Peyton Manning drinking Bud Light? What a woke POS," one message board poster said.
Others took issue with Manning's beverage choice as well.
"@ClayTravis it’s true, Peyton Manning drinks Bud Light," said Louis Tully.
"Peyton manning drinking bud light...," said Lounge Dawg.
"No Bud Light boycott for Peyton Manning. Good man. Nothing is gonna come between Peyton and his bud when he's trying to attend every sporting event on earth," one Twitter user wrote.
Peyton Manning drinks Bud Light. It's not the end of the world, folks.
