Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has been taking a break from social media since his second gun video incident went viral. Not posting on Instagram or Twitter for several weeks now, Morant briefly broke his social media silence on Monday to call out a new report about him and his camp.

The report claimed that Morant and people close to him feel that the NBA and the media are out to get them. Mo Wells, the Director of Pro Sports for The Kollective, quote Tweeted that report with a "Big Cap" gif, suggesting it was untrue:

Morant Retweeted Wells' Tweet, but shortly removed the Retweet to seemingly reenter his social media break after making the point he wanted to make:

Shortly after removing the Rewteet, Morant put it back on his page, so it's clear he wants people to know that this new report is untrue. It was a confusing report to begin with, because the NBA would have no reason to come after Morant in this way. The star point guard being on the court is great for the league and for ratings, and the negative attention surrounding his actions is not what the NBA wants.

It makes sense that Morant does not actually feel the way this report claimed he is feeling, and he made sure to amplify a message calling it out on Twitter.
