Isolated shower possible Wednesday ahead of incoming rain chances in Metro Detroit
Sunshine with an isolated shower and warm temperatures into the 80s are expected for Wednesday
4Warn Weather – Good Wednesday and welcome to the first day of summer!
Summer officially begins at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday, and it will definitely feel like summer today.
Expect plenty of sunshine today. However, just like Tuesday, we can’t rule out an isolated shower due to some moisture around the region. Most will remain dry all day.
Highs will be in the mid-80s.
Air quality alert Wednesday
An air quality alert has been issued for much of Metro Detroit for today. Air quality will be in the “unhealthy” range for sensitive groups -- meaning children, elderly adults, and those with respiratory diseases like asthma.
People are urged to limit prolonged outdoor exertion, and to avoid activities that lead to ozone formation.
Cloudier Thursday
More cloud cover will roll in Thursday, thanks so some moisture moving in, as well. Conditions should remain dry Thursday.
Highs will be a bit lower, reaching the upper 70s -- which is below average for this time in June.
Thunderstorm chances arrive Friday
An area of low pressure approaching our area will bring some rain chances Friday and Saturday. Both days could see some showers and/or a few thunderstorms, but neither day should be a washout.
Friday highs will be in the upper 70s. Saturday highs will be in the mid-80s.
Dry Sunday, then more rain
We’ll dry out Sunday with more sunshine and highs in the mid-80s.
Then, a system will move in Monday, bringing widespread rain showers.
There’s also a chance for rain showers on Tuesday.
Highs will be in the lower 80s on both Monday and Tuesday.
