MythForce launches this fall for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC
First-person fantasy roguelite game MythForce will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store this fall, publisher Aspyr and developer Beamdog announced.
MythForce first launched in Early Access for PC via Epic Games Store on April 20, 2022. The version 1.0 release will feature three episodes (up from one when Early Access launched), unlockable difficulty modes, and an overhaul of the meta-progression system with drop-in / drop-out functionality for online cooperative play.
“MythForce is a love letter to the cartoons of my childhood,” said Beamdog CEO Trent Oster in a press release. “It’s reminiscent of the pure unadulterated fun we had playing together as kids. It was a lofty ambition for our first original IP, but we’re extremely proud of how it has continued to grow and evolve throughout development. We can’t wait to share our game with the world and immerse our fans old and new in the nostalgic awesomeness that is MythForce.”
