With the WWE Money In The Bank premium live event in London now just over a week away, speculation has been running rampant about who could be the ones taking home the briefcases this year.
On the men’s side, LA Knight enters the match far and away the fan favourite option, with the late addition of Logan Paul on this week’s Raw show possibly throwing a late twist into things.
As for the women’s side, while Becky Lynch is being presented as the favourite for the match on screen, many believe that IYO SKY will end up being the one to take home the briefcase in London.
In an update from PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), PWInsider has ‘consistently heard without fail’ that IYO is indeed the frontrunner to win the case this year, and has been for some time.
It’s important to note that, until it happens, anything can change in WWE, especially with Vince McMahon lurking and, quoting Ricochet, ‘with his fingers in everything’.
There has also been many instances of things changing on the day of the show over the years.
The confirmed lineup for the Women’s Money In The Bank match is IYO SKY, Bayley, Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus.
IYO and Bayley are currently having issues within Damage CTRL, with Bayley set to defend her spot in the Ladder match against Shotzi on this week’s SmackDown.
