HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Fire Department responded to a scene of a chemical exposure that impacted at multiple people in the west Houston area on Saturday.

The incident happened just before 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Wilcrest Drive at Club Westside, an exclusive Houston family sports fitness club.
HFD initially responded to a call of accidental ingestion but was found that a possible chlorine spill possibly gotten into the club's lazy river pool area, where at least seven children and three adults were in.
Some were taken to the hospital for medical evaluation via ambulance, officials said.
Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña described the situation as "active and fluid" and says more information will be released once they have it.
