'Intermittent power outages': Wake Forest officials investigating cause
Wake Forest power officials are working to determine the cause of intermittent power outages that have been impacting customers.
WAKE FOREST. N.C. (WTVD) -- Officials in Wake Forest believe they have determined the cause of the "intermittent outages" that have affected thousands of their customers over the past two days.
On social media, power officials said crews were able to locate and replace a faulty switch believed to be the cause of the outages. Since the new switch was installed no outages have been reported.
Officials said crews will continue to monitor the power lines, and engineers will run more tests on Monday.
