Lillard’s relationship with the Trail Blazers has been seemingly teetering for years. Rumors about his supposedly impending departure pile up every summer after disappointing Blazers seasons, and now it’s that time of the year again. In a story published Monday, The Athletic’s Sam Amick reports if Portland doesn’t sign “elite talent” then “these may be Lillard’s last days in the City of Roses.”
