Alexis and Diane hit the yoga studio, and Alexis admits she only asked her to meet there because she thought she wouldn’t be free this evening. Diane says the joke is on her and orders her to get stretching. Alexis thought Diane wouldn’t be free because of Robert. Diane insists nothing is going on with Robert. She says he chose Holly, who left town. Alexis asks if she knows for certain he chose Holly. She says she doesn’t, but he never contacted her, and she’s nobody’s rebound. Alexis complains she’s exhausted already and decides they should go get something to eat. Diane points out they haven’t even exercised, so she can’t be exhausted. Alexis insists she is and they grab some food.

Laura, Felicia and Robert arrive at Anna’s place to try and convince her to join them at The Savoy. Robert suddenly smells something burning. Inside they discover Anna throwing various WSB documents into her fireplace. She explains she’s burning her past. They invite her to come to The Savoy and say Valentin has been worried about her. Anna says that’s because he feels guilty that he’s not spending his last night with her before leaving for Chechnya in the morning. Laura knows she insisted he spends tonight with Charlotte. Anna says she won’t be good company and wants to be alone with her thoughts. Robert holds up The Sun and asks why she’s reading the trash newspapers running the story on her. She says it’s true, and she needs to deal with the fact her past hurt people. Robert says she’s long since atoned for her past.

When Anna reminds Robert that on more than one occasion he has called her a traitor, Laura suggests Robert head out and get them a table at The Savoy. Once he’s gone, Laura asks Anna why she’s shutting them out. Anna notes as the mayor Laura shouldn’t be seen associating with her. Felicia and Laura both say the good she’s done outweighs her past. Anna says it’s not about what others think of her, but what she thinks of herself. Anna thought she came to terms with her past because she believed her work at the WSB was balancing the scales. Anna says now that she’s not an agent, she wonders what is next.

Laura offers to ask Valentin to stay behind for her, but Anna knows she’ll need him. Laura admits she needs all the help she can get, so Anna says she’ll be coming with her then. Laura explains normally she’d welcome her help, but given what she’s been accused of, it might not look good for her to up and take off. Anna asks, “What am I supposed to do? I help people. If I’m not an agent, then who am I?” Felicia says she doesn’t need the WSB for a purpose, and many people would love to have her on their side. Anna agrees to not accompany them, and Laura promises she’ll find a new path, or it will find her.

At Laura’s place, Esme finds Spencer playing with his brother. Esme shares the good news that she got her first paycheck. She admits she thought it would be more. Spencer knows that feeling, and she’s surprised to learn he worked at Kelly’s. Spencer asks how the job is going, and she says it’s going well. Esme is shocked he’s being so nice to her. Spencer reminds her that his grandmother did ask him to be nice to her. Esme knows, but with Laura and Kevin leaving town soon, she wonders how long this can last.

They are interrupted by a knock at the door and it’s Trina. Esme thought Spencer was staying in tonight. Trina wanted to surprise him with a chill night in. Esme suggests they all watch a movie together but quickly says she’s just kidding. She’s going to feed Ace and put him to bed. She leaves Trina and Spencer alone, and Trina can’t believe he and Esme are on the same side as they used to be. Spencer assures her that he’s not on the same side as Esme, and he’s sorry he had to leave Curtis’ party earlier.

Trina begins to open up to Spencer that Curtis did something that really upset her mom. Suddenly, Esme interrupts and says she just needed to grab Ace’s pacifier and then heads back to her room. Spencer hates this whole situation, but Trina says it must be this way until they can find real evidence to get rid of Esme.

A little later, Esme interrupts again and says she can’t get Ace down and needs Spencer to sing his silly song to him. Trina realizes they have their hands full and will leave for the night. Spencer says he’ll call her tomorrow and they kiss. Esme again pushes Spencer for help, so Spencer takes the baby and sings to him as Trina watches from the door. Esme smiles watching Spencer sing to his baby brother, as Trina eventually heads out.

At the Savoy, Michael vents to his father that Ned’s lack of memory is not good news for Drew. Sonny remembers when Ned lived a double life as Eddie, but Ned always knew who he was. Michael points out that Ned just walked in, so maybe they can find out if this amnesia is real or not.

“Eddie” finds Nina and says she’s just the person he’s been looking for. He offers to buy her a drink, and she can tell him about the talent that gets brought in here. Nina is confused and thought he was in the hospital. “Eddie” introduces himself and says soon she and everyone else with good taste in music will know who he is. He takes her to the bar, orders them drinks, and toasts to letting the good times roll.

Sonny and Michael approach Nina and “Eddie,” and Nina introduces Sonny to “Eddie.” Sonny asks why he’s in a nightclub when he just got out of the hospital. “Eddie” rants that he’s not sick, and hospitals are for sick people. Sonny offers to buy “Eddie” a drink and wants to hear his music stories. He asks Nina to go make that business call, and she steps aside to call Olivia.

At the hospital, Olivia, Ned, Brook Lynn and Chase find Ned’s room empty. Chase goes to check with the nurses, and Tracy fears “Eddie” left the hospital for some seedy dive bar. Olivia gets a call from Nina, which she ignores as she thinks it’s about the Metro Court. Chase returns and reveals Ned signed himself out. Brook Lynn then gets a call from Nina, and she says Ned is at The Savoy. They head out to try and stop Ned from leaving for who knows where.

Back at The Savoy, “Eddie” tells Sonny and Michael he needs to get a band together. Michael suggests his father knows people in the music business, and Sonny offers to reach out to them. Nina rejoins them and tells Sonny the issue is headed to the press. Nina asks “Eddie” what he thinks of The Savoy. He calls it a palace compared to the dives he played in. Nina excuses herself when she gets another work call, which is a text from Olivia saying they’re on their way.

Robert arrives and says hello to Ned. Robert pulls Sonny aside, and when Michael turns his back, “Eddie” slips off. Robert asks Sonny why he’s using Diane to fight his battles. Sonny has no idea what he’s talking about. Diane and Alexis arrive, and Diane hopes Robert isn’t questioning her client without his attorney. Robert doesn’t like that Sonny’s using Diane to get information out of him. Diane says she’ll handle this and takes Robert aside.

Olivia and the others arrive and find Ned is missing. N’neka takes to the stage and says unfortunately their opening act had to cancel, but the main act is on the way. Out of nowhere, “Eddie” walks on stage with a guitar he picked up and offers to play. Olivia tells him that he shouldn’t be on stage, and when he becomes woozy, Chase helps him off stage and sits him down with Michael.

Michael sits with “Eddie,” who wants to get back onstage. Michael suggests he wait and drink some water to hydrate. Meanwhile, Olivia cries to Sonny that Ned doesn’t remember any of them and thinks he’s “Eddie.”

Olivia tries to talk to “Eddie” and asks him to go back to the hospital. He says he’s not sick, but she argues he had a major head injury. He snaps that he can’t stand being in that hospital and he knows who he is. “Eddie” says he’s sorry he’s causing her pain, but he can’t be someone he’s not. Olivia comments, “And you can’t love someone you don’t know.” She begs him to either come home at least for the kids, or she can get him a room at the Metro Court. He appreciates the offer but feels he needs to be on his own.

Meanwhile, Sonny tells Michael that Ned for sure isn’t faking this and thinks he’s “Eddie.” Sonny notices Nina is upset and she says she hates seeing Ned’s family in so much pain. Sonny approaches a tearful Olivia and tells her that he’ll take Ned back to his place for the night. Olivia thanks him, and Michael offers some comfort to Olivia. He knows he and Ned have been at odds lately, but Olivia points out that he’s not Ned anymore. He promises Ned will be himself again, and he’ll help her through this.

Elsewhere, Robert tells Diane that the hates that Sonny is using her to get to him. Diane says she doesn’t get used or taken advantage of by anyone, and she was working to protect her client. She asks why he cares. Robert replies, “I care a whole lot more than you realize.” He values their friendship and their relationship. Diane notes they don’t have a relationship outside of work. Robert feels it doesn’t have to be that way. Diane wonders if he’d feel that way had Holly not left town. Diane doesn’t like being chosen by default. She says it’s not good enough, and she can’t believe he thought it would be.

On the next General Hospital: Joss asks Trina why not set Esme up. Laura suggests to Esme that she thinks Spencer would meet her halfway. Lucy wonders why Martin would ask her that. Austin warns Ava no one is off limits to Mason. Valentin tells Anna, “Until you can face what that is, I’m staying.” Chase tells Brook Lynn, “That’s not true.” On the phone, Tracy promises to get someone the information. Ned asks, “Can someone tell me what I’m doing here?”
