Bold & Beautiful Recap: Liam Tells Wyatt That Hope Kissed Thomas

On the jet in Italy, things are subdued. Steffy takes a glass of champagne from Carter. Thomas tells Hope he’s anxious to get back into production. Hope tells him she’s anxious to see her family and that what happened in Rome should stay in Rome. Steffy listens.
In their villa in Rome, Ridge marvels at him and Brooke being together in the city. They share a kiss, and he worries about getting to the jet. Brooke urges him to relax, “We may have a few more surprises coming our way.”
Brooke thought some time alone would be good for them. She remarks on the beautiful garden. Ridge doesn’t even remember them, he was focused on something much more beautiful — her. They kiss and canoodle.
In the cabin, a rattled Liam flashes to seeing Hope kiss Thomas and takes a swig of his drink. Wyatt comes in and asks why he’s there instead of enjoying much-needed vacation time with his wife?!
On the jet, Carter tells Hope that waiting on Ridge and Brooke is making him crazy but Rome worked its magic. As he goes to check orders, Steffy narrows her eyes as she watches Hope accusingly.

In their suite in Rome, Brooke tells Ridge she follows her heart — it led her right where she was meant to be. They hear music and Brooke says they should go find out where it’s coming from. Ridge asks, “Are you up to something?” Brooke takes his hand and goes outside where Andrea Bocelli is playing a piano and singing. Ridge is amazed. Together, the couple makes their way to the piano and marvels at the performance while flashing to the rekindling of their romance. They slow dance a little and Ridge holds Brooke by the waist as Bocelli wraps up the serenade.
In the cabin, Wyatt urges Liam to talk to him. Liam says he flew to Rome to surprise Hope. He wanted to make it in time for the preview but he was too late. He began looking for Hope and remembered that she had been talking about how much she wanted to see the Colosseum. “I figured she would be there.” Wyatt asks, “And was she?” Liam says she was, but she wasn’t alone. She was with Thomas. Liam murmurs, “I was wrong. I didn’t see it.” Wyatt asks, “See what?” Liam says, “Everything. Steffy’s warnings…” He saw it with his own eyes. Hope grabbed him and kissed him. Thomas was the one taken off guard. Hope initiated it. She kissed him and she wanted him. “She chose him.”
On the jet, Hope understands if Steffy is a little upset about her mom and her dad getting back together, but if it’s true love and commitment… Steffy snarks, “You know all about that.” Hope thinks the trip was a success and she doesn’t want it to end on a bad note. Steffy says she’s right… Rome was a magical place, “Something you’ll never forget.”
In the villa in Rome, Brooke and Ridge meet Andrea Bocelli’s family. Ridge says he’s absolutely speechless over the surprise performance. He slings his arm around Brooke, “This is crazy, Logan.” Brooke coos, “All for you.”

In the cabin, Wyatt is speechless and asks Liam if he’s sure about what he saw. Liam says there is no mistake — Hope betrayed him with the one person she knows would end their marriage. Wyatt asks what his brother needs from him. Tearing up, Liam thinks maybe he just needs to be alone. Wyatt offers to stay and crash on the couch but then nods and says, “Alright. I’m sorry, bro.” Liam, crying, nods. Wyatt exits and Liam agonizes.

On the jet, Thomas hands Steffy a bottle of water and says, “It was a good trip, right?” She muses, “Yeah. Especially for you and Hope.” Thomas thinks Finn will be happy to have her home. He thinks she’s upset about Ridge and Brooke being back together. Their mother will be devastated. Thomas thinks it will be okay though, “Mom will find her happiness, I know it.” Steffy was definitely surprised in Rome. “A kiss of fate.” Thomas goes to check in with the pilot. Steffy glances at Hope and texts Liam, “Where are you? Still in Rome?” Liam replies that he took a commercial flight home.
Nearby, Carter tells Hope it wouldn’t be a Forrester event without some drama. She asks what he’s talking about. He says Ridge and Brooke holding up the flight. He marvels that everyone is so happy and it was a success with no scandal or damage control. On top of that, Brooke and Ridge are back together.

On the terrace outside the villa, Brooke explains to Ridge that Andrea Bocelli’s wife has been wearing their designs for decades. Ridge felt starstruck and tells Brooke she’s amazing. They say “arrivederci” to Rome and Ridge tells Brooke he’ll love her for all eternity. Brooke returns the sentiment. The cannon goes off and startles them. They laugh and then kiss.
