2 injured in downtown Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two teenage boys were shot near Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus Wednesday night, according to police.
The Columbus Division of Police said officers received a call around 9:55 p.m. for a reported shooting at South Civic Center Drive and West Rich Street.
When officers arrived, they found two boys with gunshot wounds — one was shot in his lower body and the other was shot in his upper body.
Witnesses told people that a suspect shot at them from a dark-colored vehicle. The vehicle left south on Civic Center Drive. Additional information on the suspect was not available.
One person was taken to Grant Medical Center and another person was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Both of their conditions were described as stable, according to police.
Police did not release any additional information.
