Colorado Springs police respond to shooting call downtown
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado Springs police responded to a shooting in downtown Colorado Springs Saturday evening.
As of time of writing, police are not able to give any information other than that. 11 News crews on scene reported seeing what appeared to be cars involved in a crash near Bijou and Tejon, with roads closed in that area.
Police confirmed they responded to a crash in the area that they said might be related to the shooting call. They told 11 News multiple people were taken to the hospital for both the reported shooting and the crash.
As it is early in the investigation, police said they are not able to confirm any information on any possible suspects, nor how many people might have been invovled.
