Stars at Paris Fashion Week’s Haute Couture Shows
As any fashion connoisseur could tell you, the fashion capital of the world, Paris, hosts Haute Couture Week as part of Paris Fashion Week every July. And today, on July 3, the event officially kicked off with shows from major fashion brands including Christian Dior, Iris Van Harpen and Schiaparelli.
The star-studded week, which lasts until July 6, will be sure to bring together celebrities from all over while showing the world the best and brightest of what fashion has to offer. After all, the term haute couture is a French term meaning “high sewing,” and it refers to the creation of upscale and exclusive custom-fitting clothes that are extremely expensive and exclusive but oh-so-beautiful.
Among the brands set to show their collections are Chanel, Balenciaga, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, Zuhair Murad, Valentino and many others. And, of course, in each of the shows celebrities and fashionistas will grace their front rows. During Day 1 today, stars including Natalie Portman, Alexandra Daddario, Tracee Ellis Ross, Cardi B and many others already made their glamorous appearance. We can’t wait to see more!
