Classic Episode of Hope Telling Liam She's Pregnant
Tuesday, July 4, 2023, full episode recap of B&B: A classic B&B episode from July 4, 2018, where Sally and Wyatt celebrated the fourth together and Brooke told Ridge that Hope was going to have Liam’s baby.
Monday’s B&B recap: Steffy blasted Liam for kissing her, Thomas couldn’t forget kissing Hope, and Brooke blamed Thomas for Hope kissing him.
At Forrester Creations, Hope is in disbelief as she tells her mom that she is having Liam’s baby. Brooke says that she and Liam will be a family now too, just like he is with Steffy.
She thinks this is a sign that she could have a future with Liam. After she gives her daughter some water, Brooke tells her not to complicate things and concentrate on how this baby is a blessing.
“You and Liam deserve this joy,” she says. Hope saw his car in the lot. Standing up, she declares she needs to tell him.
Her mom repeats this will be a beautiful time in their lives.
Down the hall, Liam, Maya, Xander, and Thorne and argue about the new line and why Emma isn’t there.
They talk about the website traffic and Thorne asks the Avants to step out and get some numbers after Liam spots another threat posted online, complete with a skull emoji.
He doesn’t want to have to worry Hope with this. She’s been through so much already without having to deal with a troll.
Hope barges in and asks to speak to Liam alone. Once Thorne steps out, she explains she just wanted to focus on work but something has changed… for both of them.
Before she can explain, Xander rushes in and drags Liam out to watch the fireworks.
As they go out on the balcony and watch, Hope grabs Liam by the hand and leads him away. She explains that something unexpected has happened and she hopes he’s as excited as she is.
She knows he’s living with Steffy and has a daughter but she loves him and they’ve always had a connection. It’s not over. They will be part of each other’s lives forever.
“I’m p–,” she says, cut off by a firework. She repeats that she’s pregnant. He goes into shock. After taking a moment, he hugs her.
Ridge meets Steffy at her place. She tells him it will be a quiet fourth of July. She’s worried the fireworks could be too loud for Kelly.
Sometimes she has moments when she wonders what Liam’s mom would think of all this.
He thinks she’d probably be happy they named their daughter after her… but she’d also wonder why they’re waiting to get married.
She says nothing is holding her back now and she doesn’t want to wait any more. So many things were out of balance and she couldn’t relax.
Now she is sure that she and Liam can be happy.
After he leaves, she smiles as she looks at the photo of Liam on the mantle and then steps out to watch the fireworks.

B&B’s latest comings and goings
When Ridge gets home, he’s surprised that Brooke is cooking pepper steak. He fills her in about seeing Steffy and Kelly.
As he drinks wine, he tells her that everything is back to normal and his daughter will be marrying Liam soon.
Brooke pours him more wine and explains that something has happened that will change Hope, Liam, and Steffy’s lives forever.
He starts to worry. They recap the complexities of the situation and he notices that she’s nervous.
She explains that Hope and Liam are going to be a family too. She rambles until she eventually explains that her daughter is pregnant.
At Wyatt’s beach house, he gets excited after seeing Sally bending over while decorating the place for the holiday. He suggests they get something cooking inside. She likes the sound of that but has to take care of something first and bustles off.
When she returns, she worries about Hope’s negative opinion of her.
As it gets dark outside, he tells her how much better his life is with her in it. They kiss.
After they have sex, she admits she’s surprised he’s not keeping their relationship a secret given what his parents think of her.
Wyatt is proud to be involved with someone so ambitious, talented, strong, and sexy. He won’t hide his feelings for her and is determined to show her how much he cares.
Fireworks start going off. They watch them and kiss.
