Bold & Beautiful Recap: Hope Runs to Thomas After Liam Demand a Divorce

At the cabin, Hope wants Liam to let her prove her love to him and fix the damage she’s caused. Liam doesn’t think this is the kind of thing they can fix. He had to force her to tell him the truth about kissing Thomas. Hope begs him to please see the bigger picture… their family is worth fighting for. “Can you forgive me?” Hope refuses to give up on them, “I still believe in us. Please say that you do too.” Liam rubs his neck and reflects that they have been so much. He wanted their family to thrive, but he can’t give her what she needs, “I can’t forgive this. Not you and Thomas. The fact is our marriage is over and you always knew it would be if you chose this. I want a divorce.” A tear rolls down Hope’s face.
At the cliff house, Thomas admits to Steffy that Hope kissed him in Rome. It just happened and he didn’t plan it, “The last thing I want is for Hope’s marriage to be ruined.” Steffy says that kiss changed everything, “Hope kissed you. It’s her fault, not yours.” Thomas says it’s complicated and really, not any of her business. Steffy argues it could affect Forrester Creations. Thomas asks her not to do anything to upend Liam’s marriage. Steffy informs him the truth is already out. Liam told her. He saw them kissing in front of the Colosseum and knows everything.

At Forrester, Brooke tells Ridge that Liam walked out on Hope and didn’t come back this morning. Ridge is certain they’ll find their way back to each other… they did. If something is worth fighting for, you fight. They’re embracing when RJ walks in with a box from the bakery. He asks if his mom is okay. She’s concerned. RJ is worried about Hope too.
After RJ has broken out the pastries, Brooke tells RJ that Hope may need them more than ever. She can’t understand why Hope kissed Thomas and threw away everything she had with Liam. Ridge says they may never know. Brooke admits she’s had concerns about Hope’s feelings for Thomas for quite some time. RJ asks why she’d kiss him. Brooke rambles about the success of the line and the romance of Rome. Ridge says it’s not an excuse. Brooke vows that Hope will fight for her marriage.

In the cabin, Hope pleads with Liam not to talk about divorce. He says it doesn’t matter how much she loves him; he’ll be haunted by this every time he sees them together. Hope points out she’s forgiven him for so much more. “I love you.” Liam says he’ll be staying at his dad’s and they’ll co-parent Beth and make sure this is as easy on the kids as possible. “You chose the one thing you knew I couldn’t survive. Let’s be honest, Hope. You’re still not going to stop working with him. You’re always going to find new ways to keep him in our lives.” Hope says he’s Douglas’ father. Liam argues it’s more than that… she has feelings for him. She’s spent months making him feel crazy when she knew all along that what he was seeing was real, “That I can’t forgive.” He emphasizes, “You’ve always known, not Thomas. Never Thomas.”
At Forrester, RJ questions if Hope’s marriage will be able to survive. Ridge chastises, “RJ!” Brooke never thought this would happen with Hope. She never thought her daughter would risk everything for a moment with Thomas.

At the cliff house, Steffy fills her brother in on Liam flying to Rome to surprise Hope, only to find her kissing him. She’s never seen him so heartbroken and disillusioned. Steffy flashes to their kiss. Thomas feels he should try to talk to him. Steffy thinks it’s a bad idea. She tried to convince him to find forgiveness, but she isn’t sure it worked. Thomas frets about Hope and her marriage.
In the cabin, Hope continues to try and convince Liam that their life and family are worth fighting for. Liam tells her if it had been with anyone else they’d have found their way back, “With Thomas, I can’t. I can’t.” Hope asks if there’s no way back for them, “You’re closing that door?” Liam nods. Hope asks if he’s seen Steffy since all of this happened. Liam’s expression tells her he has. Hope muses, “Maybe it’s not all just me. You keep mentioning Thomas but Steffy has always had a seat at the table in our marriage and you did go see her.” She fumes, “Liam, that’s pretty predictable.” Liam tells Hope he hasn’t had a single thought about Steffy, “But I’m thinking about her now.” There has to be something broken inside of Hope for her to want Thomas. Hope narrows her eyes, “Maybe you’re right.” Liam says, “Goodbye, Hope,” and leaves.
At Forrester, Brooke says she and Hope have had some difficult conversations; she never thought her past would affect her daughter this way. “I think the reason she was lashing out at me is because she was starting to have feelings for another man… the wrong man. And it may have cost Hope her relationship with Liam.”
At Spencer, Liam goes over his conversations with Hope in his mind leading up to the kiss in Rome.

Hope arrives at Thomas’s place and tells him Liam saw them in Italy. Thomas tells her he knows; he talked to Steffy. Hope explains that after everything they’ve been through, Liam doesn’t see a way forward for them. “Liam wants a divorce.” Distraught, Hope rushes into Thomas’ arms and he holds her.
