San Diego Comic-Con has just begun to roll out the schedule for its annual convention, and the first full day is looking pretty TV and game-heavy.

There was some concern over just what would be arriving at the usually very buzzy Comic-Con, which announced Marvel Phases 5 and 6 just last year. Marvel will reportedly not be holding panels this year, as well as Netflix, Universal, and Sony Pictures. The ongoing writers' strike and potential actors' strike have made planning more uncertain, especially as SAG-AFTRA extended its contract deadline with Hollywood studios until July 12 - meaning we may not know if the organization will go on strike or not until just days before SDCC.

Even still, the first full day - Thursday, July 20 - is has some buzzy panels and appearances on the docket. Perhaps among the biggest is Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2, which is getting the blockbuster treatment in Hall H. Pokemon will also have its first SDCC panel that day.

On the TV side, Max will be there with animated series like Harley Quinn and Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, Prime will be bringing its fantasy adaptation Wheel of Time, and Peacock will show up with Twisted Metal. Paramount Pictures will also have a panel for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

See the highlights below, which will be updated each day as Comic-Con releases its schedule. All times are in Pacific. For the complete schedule, click here.
