New footage of Dee Jay's combos and supers against Marisa in Street Fighter 6 shown off by Capcom
Capcom has been releasing very brief clips for Street Fighter 6's roster as we rapidly approach the game's June 2nd release date. Earlier, Capcom released a 40 second clip that technically showcases new footage of Dee Jay using Marisa as a training dummy.
The last time we've seen Dee Jay in action was back during the days of Street Fighter 4. Of course, Dee Jay was a notoriously weak challenger throughout the lifespan of Street Fighter 4, but Street Fighter 6 appears to be changing up Dee Jay's kit.
During the clip, we're again reminded that level 1 and level 2 supers can only be cancelled from normals or Overdrive specials. However, a level 3 super can be cancelled out of normal specials as well.
It's demonstrated that Dee Jay is quite versatile in being able to launch opponents into the air. Additionally, he also appears to be fairly strong when it comes to juggling opponent into the corner — assuming the player is willing to spend some meter to do this.
For the first time ever, we get to see how Dee Jay's level 3 super unfolds specifically against Marisa. Since this is probably the Critical Art variant of Dee Jay's level 3, we see a full animation play out.
Check it all out in the clip below:
