Update at 10:45 a.m.: San Antonio police report the man who barricaded himself inside a guard shack at the Toyota manufacturing plant has been arrested and will be charged with aggravated robbery, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief. Police have not identified the man.
The man reportedly entered the guard shack around 2:30 a.m., where he was confronted by security guard, an SAPD spokesperson said. The man, who police say was armed with a knife, refused orders to leave and took the guard's phone. The security officer left the shack and called police, which is when the man barricaded himself inside. SWAT and police were able to get the man to surrender after several hours.
