Popular Fabens eatery closed after being burglarized overnight
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A popular Fabens business is closed Saturday, July 8, after being burglarized early Saturday morning, its operators said in a Facebook post.

Beans and Burritos, 919 Fabens Road, reported that it was broken into around 4:40 a.m. Saturday by two individuals who appeared on surveillance video.
The operators of the business are asking the community’s help in identifying the culprits.
“We are saddened that we had to go thru this. They took the register, they took the donations box for HEART FOR HEARTS that contained money in it as well. We are extremely emotional. Beans and Burritos in the Fabens community always gives back, donates, sponsors. Helps out in any possible way! And some kids come in and take it all and destroy what took so much effort,” the owners said in a statement sent to KTSM.
