Car cut in half in deadly crash
CLEVELAND (WJW) – At least one person died in a crash where a car split in half after hitting a utility pole early Monday morning.
Police say the accident involving two vehicles happened at about 3:30 a.m. at the corner of Union Avenue and E. 78th Street in Cleveland.
Four people were transported to a nearby hospital including a 30-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman, and two 16-year-old boys. Both teens were taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to police.
It’s not clear what caused the accident.
