Melanie Griffith replaces Antonio Banderas tattoo with the names of her four children
Years after first beginning the tattoo removal process, Melanie Griffith has finally replaced her legendary Antonio Banderas tatt with the names of her children.
The Working Girl actress, 65, displayed her new ink as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Monday, wearing a black tank which displayed the tattoo perfectly.
Now, instead of the heart shaped tattoo which was once etched onto her skin, she now has the names of her children Alexander, Stella, Dakota, and Jesse jotted onto her arm.
The four names were arranged in a unique, crossword puzzle design, and only a remnant of her former heart tattoo was visible beneath the new design.
Melanie flashed a contented smile as she stepped out into the sunshine in a summery white skirt and cat eyed sunglasses.

She carried an intricate black leather handbag in her gloved hands and wore her blonde hair down in a chic style.
The Night Moves actress had her pedicured feet slipped into a pair of black sandals.
Melanie began laser treatment to remove the heart tattoo soon after she announced her split from Antonio on June 6, 2014.
Days after the announcement, she covered Antonio's name up with makeup while attending a film festival awards ceremony in Italy.
Over the years, the tattoo gradually faded from existence.
It's unclear when exactly Melanie got the latest tattoo.
Mel and Antonio's decision to 'thoughtfully and consensually' end their relationship came after 18 years of marriage. The divorce was finalised in December 2015.
The couple fell in love while shooting the 1995 romantic comedy Too Much and the next year they welcomed their daughter Stella and married.
It would be the fourth time Melanie had said 'I do.'
She was previously married to Don Johnson, whom she shares daughter Dakota Johnson with. The marriage also made her a stepmother to Don's son Jesse Johnson, whom is also inked on her arm.

Melanie and Don were famously married — and divorced — twice.
Melanie also has son Alexander Bauer, 37, from her marriage with Scarface star Steven Bauer.
In a statement announcing their split, Melanie and Antonio said, 'We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together - Melanie & Antonio.'
Since then, the former couple have remained friends.

Antonio previously referred to Melanie as 'family' and 'one of my best friends' during a 2019 interview with Vulture.
'I am not married with Melanie anymore, but she is my family,' he said.
'She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have. My family is there, Dakota, Little Estella and Alexander.'
The Zorro star admitted he was smitten by Melanie the first time he saw her, at the 1989 Oscars.
He recalled: 'The first time I went to the Academy Awards after we got a nomination for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, we got on the red carpet and I saw this blonde woman and I knew her because I saw movies of her, but I didn't remember [her name] at the time.

'So, I said to Pedro Almodóvar, "Who is she? Who is she? What is her name?" Pedro said, "That's Melanie Griffith!" I said, "That's it. Oh my God." Six years later, I was married to her.
'Everything happened in those years really fast. My life was fast and fascinating if I actually see it in retrospective. I remember those years as very effervescent and really beautiful.'
It came after Antonio vowed he would love Melanie until the day he died during a 2018 interview with People.
He said: 'Even if we are divorced, she is my family and I will love her until the day I die. We have been in contact all these years and we managed to do a separation that is very elegant.
'Our kids are enjoying that and that is very important for both of us. Our kids are priority number one.'
