Kelly Rowland says accidental slip-up of the sex of Beyonce's first baby was her biggest mistake
Kelly Rowland confessed that her accidentally revealing the gender of fellow Destiny's Child bandmate Beyoncé's first child still haunts her to this day.
The admission was made by the 42-year-old singer during a July 11 appearance on songwriter and music producer Billy Mann's 'Yeah, I F*cked That Up' podcast.
'When I told the sex of Beyoncé's [first] baby when she was pregnant with Blue [Ivy Carter]. It was like the worst moment ever,' Rowland exclaimed when asked about the biggest mistake she ever made in an interview.
On August 28, 2011, Beyoncé, 41, announced at the end her performance of her single 'Love on Top' during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards that she was pregnant with her and her husband Jay-Z's first child by unbuttoning her blazer and rubbing her stomach to confirm the pregnancy.
The super star couple, who began dating in 2003 and wed in 2008, are fiercely protective of their relationship, although both have appeared to become a bit relaxed since 2013.

The due date and sex and of the pair's first child was not made public during Beyoncé's VMAs performance.
However, a few months later, Rowland, accidentally spilled the secret during a red carpet interview in London with Bang Showbiz in October 2011.
The slip-up came when Rowland was asked what she planned to give Beyoncé as a present for the baby shower.
'[I don't know what I'll get for the present because] Jay-Z is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible ... she won't be spoiled but she will be very well looked after,' Rowland said.
While reflecting on the incident, Rowland told Mann that her choice of using the pronoun 'she' just, 'kind of slipped out' and she panicked when it happened.
Rowland also suggested that while Beyoncé was 'disappointed' with her accidentally revealing the gender of the baby, the slip-up didn't ruin their friendship.
'I felt terrible because its not my news [to share with the rest of the world]. I didn't mean it like that,' she said.
Following the incident, Jay-Z and Beyoncé did not publicly confirm that sex of their first child was a girl until a few days after the baby, who they named Blue Ivy Carter, was born on January 7, 2012.

Rowland is no stranger to accidental gender reveals.
Back in 2014, she accidentally let it-slip in an interview with with Fox411 that she and her husband Tim Witherspoon, were expecting a baby boy.
After being forced to confirm that she was expecting a baby, Rowland realized that she hadn't even told her husband the sex of their baby and asked her spokesperson to contact Witherspoon to let let him know.
Their son and first child, Titan, was born on November 4, 2014.
In addition to their now eight-year-old son Titan, Rowland and Witherspoon are also parents of a two-year-old son Noah.
