One dead, Three in critical condition after quadruple shooting in Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - 4 people have been injured by gunshots in Hartford, according to police.
Police say they responded to 541 Maple Ave. after a 911 call informing them of a 17-year-old girl with gunshot wounds inside an apartment.
The shooting took place at 3:36 PM.
Police found the girl unresponsive.
She was transported to the hospital where she is listen in critical condition.
While officers were responding, they noticed a car had crashed on Maple Ave. with a male driver suffering a gunshot wound, police said.
He was transported to Hartford Hospital and is also listed in critical condition.
A 911 call then came in informing them of two additional victims near 165 Wethersfield Ave.
Those victims were two adult males.
One of these two males has been pronounced deceased while the other is in critical condition.
Police believe everything happened in the apartment at 541 Maple Ave and that it was “mutually combative.” Police explained this means some of the shooters were shot as well.
Police held a press conference to provide more details at 6:15 PM.
