Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan pay touching tributes to each other on 35th wedding anniversary
It is a major milestone, let alone for a couple who have both worked under the sometimes harsh spotlight of Hollywood in five different decades.
On Sunday, Michael J. Fox and wife Tracy Pollan both took to their respective Instagram pages to pay tribute to each other in celebration of their 35th wedding anniversary,
'35 years!!! Happy anniversary my love,' Pollan, 63, began in the caption of her post, which featured a throwback photo of the former Family Ties stars vacationing together.
She continued, 'Here’s to many more glorious adventures together. I could not love you more.'
Fox , 62, gushed over his wife when he commented on her vacation photo, writing back, 'Likewise, so beautiful just like you. Happy Anniversary!'

The Back To The Future leading man would also share an anniversary tribute of his own to his wife, whom he first met on the set of the hit sitcom Family Ties in 1985.
'35 years of laugher, living, listening and loving you @tracy.pollan,' the now retired actor wrote in the caption of his message of love to his wife. 'Thank you for it all. Forever yours, Mike.'
She also responded to her husband's message, by writing back, 'Love you so much!!!' along with a few red heart emojis.
While fate brought them together in 1985 when Pollan was hired to play Ellen, the girlfriend of Fox's Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties, they remained friends because they were both dating other people at the time.
Fox had been in a romance with actress Nancy McKeon, while Pollan was exclusive with actor Kevin Bacon.
After Pollan's run on the NBC series ended two years later, in 1987, they would reunite when they were both cast in the drama film Bright Lights, Big City (1988).
Now single following their ends of their respective romances, sparks flew between the two instantaneously, which marked the beginning of their own romance.
They wasted little time in making their union legal, and got married on July 16, 1988 at West Mountain Inn in Arlington, Vermont, after just seven months of dating.

Back in 2015, Pollan revealed to People one element that has helped their marriage endure through the years: 'Giving each other the benefit of the doubt,' especially during arguments.
The actress also revealed romances can make it through almost anything 'if you can make each other laugh.'
Fast forward to 2019, and a sit down on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon , Fox would show off some of that ability to make his wife laugh when he shared what he thought was an integral element to a strong marriage.
'I feel funny saying this because my daughter is in the audience but keep the sex dirty and the fights clean,' he said, which got a laugh from both his wife and Fallon, along with the live audience.
