Powerball jackpot reaches a whopping $900 million, drawing Monday night
Monday's estimated Powerball jackpot is up to a whopping $900 million.
If a winning ticket does appear, the cash-out option will give out more than $452 million to the lucky winner! It's the third-largest jackpot in Powerball history.

On Friday, a lucky Mega Millions ticket purchased from a grocery store in Gaston County matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize.
The lucky winner purchased the $2 ticket from the Food Lion on Highland Street in Mount Holly.
Since no one won Friday’s Mega Million's jackpot, the new jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing climbs to $640 million as an annuity, or $328 million cash. The $640 million jackpot ranks as the seventh largest in Mega Millions history.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
