ASUS Teases Evangelion Themed ROG GeForce RTX 4090 & RO-Ji Anime Themed RTX 4070 Ti GPUs
ASUS seems to be going heavy on the anime-themed GPU trend with new ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 40 options in Evangelion & RO-Ji designs.
ASUS Preps GeForce RTX 40 ROG STRIX GPUs Based On Evangelion & RO-Ji Anime Themes, Available In RTX 4090 & 4070 Ti Flavors
All major GPU vendors have at some point adopted the anime theme with ASUS & MSI specifically selecting Evangelion for their themed products. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a fan favorite and one of the most iconic anime series ever made, so it comes as no surprise that hardware makers will make themed products made out of the color palette used by the Eva units featured in the anime.
The Eva Unit-01 was already taken inspiration from in the previous themed products with a distinct purple and green color scheme so this time ASUS has chosen the Eva Unit-02 which features a red & orange color theme. The backplate features a picture of Asuka Langley Soryu and according to the details, we will get the ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 in the EVA-02 Edition variant which looks absolutely phenomenal with its red, white, and black color scheme.

Besides the ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, ASUS is also working on a range of EVA Unit-02-themed products which include the ROG Hyperion casing, ROG Maximus Z790 HERO board, ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB cooler, ROG HERCULX GPU bracket, ROG THOR Platinum II PSU & various ROG peripherals. All of these will make for a nice EVA Unit-02-themed PC build.

ASUS hasn't announced the availability or pricing yet but expects it within the coming week. As for the other card, we have the RO-Ji Anime-themed lineup which will also feature various products such as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and various other components/peripherals that are launching on the 29th of July. These components seem to be exclusive to Asian markets and the company is also hosting a giveaway.
The graphics card features the same design as the ROG STRIX RTX 4070 Ti but includes the RO-Ji anime-themed backplate. Once again, the pricing and availability of these products are to be unveiled later.
