San Antonio police holds asset seizure vehicle and property auction

A number of vehicles, appliances, game consoles and more will be up for grabs courtesy of the San Antonio Police Department next week. The agency is holding the asset seizure vehicle auction on Tuesday, July 25, and property auction on Wednesday, July 26.

On Tuesday, those interested in vehicles can arrive at 3625 Growden Rd. as early as 5 p.m. with the auction set to begin at 6 p.m. Payment must be made by cash or credit card, barring American Express, and vehicles must be paid in full on the day of the sale.

Vehicles that will be included in the auction include a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2002 Ford F250, 2006 Honda Civic, 2006 Ford F150, 2006 Acura TL, 2007 BMW 7 Series, 2007 Lincoln Navigator, 2008 Ford F150, 2009 Ford Econoline, 2009 GMC Yukon, and 2011 Nissan Altima. Purchasers can pick them up on Wednesday between 6:30 and 10 p.m. or on Thursday and Friday, July 27 and 28, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. All vehicles must be removed from the property by 4 p.m. on Friday, according to a press release.

The property asset seizure auction on Wednesday will start at 6:30 p.m. at VFW Post 9186, located at 650 E. White Ave., and reportedly include approximately 100 items. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for viewing and all items must be paid in cash or credit card and taken home on the day of the sale.

Items included in Wednesday's auction include clothing, sports jerseys, cowboy boots, sneakers, designer shoes and accessories like Yeezy's, Gucci, Michael Kors and Burberry, along with an assortment of jewlery. There are also some gaming consoles including a PlayStation 5, a couple Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems with games, a projector, and collectible figures on the auction block.

Contractors and home owners-slash-renovators may be interested in the assortment of of tools, power washers, a generator, saws, sanders, welders, acetylene tanks, lawn tools, ramps and ladders, thermostats, and routers.
